Default SDHC freezes my mini 9 - 10-16-2010, 12:52 AM

I have a Ridata 16GB SDHC,each time i insert it before boot, it freezes the computer in the windows screen just before the welcome screen.
If I boot then insert it, it takes a minute or so to recognize it but it seems to work, slowly but OK.
Are there any settings I should use to get it working without removing it each time I reboot? Or any advice to help me?

I'd suggest replacing the card. It seems to be defective.

why cant you just put it in after the system boots? if you know that hangs the system then dont do it..wait til the system boots then put it in, you said then it works...stick to that

I could do that its a hassle remembering remove SDHC/insert SDHC.Remove it put it in case set it aside then find it??? I did get it working,I formatted and it works.
I tried to change it from FAT32 to NTFS cant seem to do it with my limited knowledge. I have changed other drives but the SDHC is different??

But I recommend leaving a SD card with FAT32.
