Well, after my recent questions re hacking I've decided to hold off on making the change for a month, see if I can tolerate XP and then decide later.
So, many sources when I was shopping mentioned the benefit of getting rid of programs that aren't needed. I'm wondering what, on the 10v nick, can be gotten rid off without causing a melt-down?
I have to say, I've grown to like the green, could do without the slime but.... If it'll make a big difference in terms of performance and battery life I'd get rid of it.
I've never owned a windows based computer - only used them at work - so I don't know much at all about what is necessary, how to set it up for best performance/battery, etc.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks.
