Default which drivers to install for 10v - 05-31-2010, 03:56 AM

i installed a fresh copy of xp on my dell mini 10v but i dont know which drivers to install. is there a install all drivers button or something? im really lost )=

XP needs to have the drivers loaded manually on the 10v. The link above will take you to Dell's download page for the 10v's XP drivers.

so do i just download every single one of those? cause i have the driver cd but i don't know which ones to install and stuff.

Not all of them - some are for devices you don't have. I suggest right clicking on My Computer, select Manage, then Device Manager. Look for entries with a yellow exclamation mark icon - those indicate devices for which no working driver is present. You will probably need drivers for the wireless networking, at least.

Is your 10v working ok? If so, don't sweat it.

well i installed like most of the drivers from the cd but the one problem i have is my screen icon is REALLY small. like when i open display and then settings, theres only 2 options for my screen but before there was more. like the small icons are hurting my eyes )=

i already have those installed but no luck at all )= and is there a way to make hibernate work? cause when i press shift theres no hibernate. haha thanks.
