Smile New 10V Owner saying "Thanks for these Forums" - 04-05-2010, 07:07 PM

Wow, great forums y'all have here.

I'd been thinking of buying a netbook for awhile. I recently went over the Gizmodo guide for Hackintosh again and that led me here and after seeing all the information on the Dell Mini's here, I'd decided on a Mini 10v.

And when I saw that the Dell Outlet had a 15% off code on Inspirons last week ... I pulled the trigger and ordered one. And then ordered Memory. And an SSD. And why not throw in a skin from SGP. And a copy of Snow Leopard just in case I do decide to Hackintosh it. I'll probably need a larger SD Card as well (just in case). Probably need a case as well.

Jump in the deep end if you're going to jump I guess.

Welcome aboard. If you do plan on hackingtoshing your 10v, you will find no better place than here to look for info.

All my computer purchases have been through the outlet..Such great deals and I have been very satisfied with my experiences at the Dell Outlet. BTW, If you are interested in knowing, Windows 7 Ultimate Edition runs well on netbooks.

Thumbs up Many Thanks - 04-06-2010, 05:16 AM

Just want to say a heartfelt Thank You to all the knowledgable folks in these forums. My 10V is up and running with 10.6.2, and our neighbor recently bought two for me to help and make two hackintoshes for them as well. Great help here. Keep up the good work.

Now back to figuring out how to dual or triple boot my 10V.

Good to see you !

Dont lose focus of what a netbook is and you'll always be happy with it.
