Default noob asking about dual boot - 03-12-2010, 06:21 AM

i readed the guide on dual boot, i was wondering if i want to install xp and os x does it require second mac laptop to do so? because on all video guide i can find, the usb boot was created using mac book and i dont have 1
any solution?

There is an entire section of this forum on Dual Boot, with instructions on how to install OS X using only a Windows PC. Jump in and start reading.

i cant seems to find a way to install OS X without having a mac machine, all guide that i find from here and google always stated requirement of mac machine to create the USB boot iso. Can somebody point me to the right direction? thx

The Mac OS X Guides section has several useful options, but I'll point you to Guides | OS X | mechdrew which lays it out best.
