Default New problem discovered - 12-27-2008, 05:44 PM

In testing my email using the installed Outlook Express 6 program the spell check is only in French! I went to tools and language and the only option is French. What can I do to remedy this since French is of no good to me. Thanks

See here for the fix for this common problem that occurs after you install Office 2007.

Thanks for the tip. I solved the problem another way, I downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird and Firefox browser. Both are more user friendly. Can I remove Explorer and Outlook Express or move them off the hard drive to the E drive? If so does the screw things up? Appreciate the help. Slowly but surely I'm getting everything added the way I want

No, you can't remove Internet Explorer and I don't think you can remove Outlook Express either, but you can ignore them and make Firefox/Thunderbird your defaults for web browsing and email.

I went ahead and upgraded to Norton's Internet Security. I've been using Norton's for years and haven't had an issue. I never like McAfee so was glad to dump it.
