Default How do I upgrade the BIOS & why would I want to? - 01-17-2010, 06:57 PM

My mini 9 has a BIOS A04. Is that a bad thing? Should I update it? How?

If it's working well, I wouldn't: "If it works, don't fix it".

Updating the BIOS can provide some functionaity. For example, some older versions do not have the F11 or F12 softkey. However, if you are interested in buying replacement batteries, you have to beware of which BIOS version the battery you're purchasing will work for.
