Welcome to the forum, May. You've been collecting old consoles for less than a week?

The memory you linked to is compatible with the 10v. The OS doesn't matter.

Your question about the MacBook Pro is probably better answered in an Apple-centric forum.

thanks and yes i have been collecting consoles for less than a week. and also i was wondering on the Dell Mini 10v if i order it with Ubuntu (for the 2GB RAM upgrade) can i order it with th g./n Wifi card? It gives me: "Linux is not compatible with your wifi card selection" but can i order it anyway since im just going to install OS X or will Dell not let me order a system with "incompatibilities"

Linux support for wireless cards is limited. I think the Dell 1510 I saw you mention elsewhere is compatible with OS X, but it is best to ask in the OS X section of the forum for advice on that. I know that the card I have, the Intel 5300, supports Windows and Linux but not OS X.
