1st, Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new toy

2nd, what is it that u r trying to do with the right button?

3rd, yes the 10v is compatible with Vista, but why not just install Win 7, its much nicer and more stable than Vista and you can install it from USB also...

Welcome! Go with Windows 7. If you're used to Vista, 7 will be familiar and nicer. As far as your right-click, call Dell if it's new. Sounds like a quirk though.

well you can probably download Win 7 or Office off of MS as soon as you PAY for it, we on this site deeply take pirated software very seriously and it is an excellent reason to get banned forever, your local Best Buy, Staples, Office Max/Depot most anywhere will SELL you a LEGTIMATE copy of Win 7, anything else would not be accepted here and they will also SELL you a LEGTIMATE copy of Office also.....but once you get it I am sure that you will be very pleased with Win 7 and is a very very nice improvement over Win XP and has some very nice eye candy to look at also along with some performance enhancements etc.......feel free to ask any other questions...Good Luck..

my main problem is figuring out how to get my right mouse to work, but you can't help me with that though? is there like something i haven't tried?

short of calling Dell, not sure what else to tell ya but maybe check the drivers for the trackpad and maybe try to re-download and re-install them...
