Default How is Runcore as a company? - 11-14-2009, 10:13 PM

Are they good in tech support, like honoring the warranty? SSD's I think are still a new technology and I am skeptical in adopting them. I think a manufacturer can easily implement some sort of tamper proof feature (via cosmetics and electronics) on these product so they can tell if someone abuse the product and not honor the warranty.

I know the benefits exceed the risk. (Green, Colder, reliable?? and of course FAST) So I can see an SSD on my Mini in the near future.

I have not heard of anyone having trouble getting retailers of RunCore SSDs to honor the warranty. People deal with the retailers rather then RunCore itself.

If you search RunCore at MacRumors you'll find that the person behind RunCore just recently joined the boards and even shipped someone an SSD to test on a MacBook Air Rev A. The guy seems to be real great and real eager to get his product out there. It also is proving to be a top notch SSD.

Plenty of manufacturers do, of course. But why are you worried about this? Do you plan on hacking your Runcore?
