My mini 9 was a certified refurbish. Looked awesome.

Bought a scratch and dent 10v, boy do I regret it. Theres tons of scratches that are all over this thing, which is expected, but what really got me was the damn battery. It only lasts 2 1/2 hours according to the battery reader on OSX. Already dumping money on a new battery; at this rate I should have just bought a new one. I guess this is "random" right?

Why do you think the standard battery should last longer than 2.5 hours?

Yeah, no kidding. Hell, I wish mine lasted 2 1/2 hours. It lasts two if I'm lucky.. Of course, that's highly dependent on what I'm doing.

Sorry guys it's been a while since I owned the mini. My 9 lasted close to 3.5 hours and I could have sworn that was the norm.

With the 9, that was definitely true. Not so with the 10v though.

Looks like the thread was hijacked to a battery topic. Getting it back on track.
My Mini 10v cost me $250 to my door. I got it from the Outlet. It appeared to be brand new. The only indications that it wasn't was the packaging was a little generic and there is a "refurbished" label on the bottom. It was cosmetically perfect and has performed like a champ. I have had it for about 6 weeks and I love it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another machine from the Outlet.
