Default Looking for AC Adapter - 10-12-2009, 01:28 PM

Hi guys,

I ma looking for a replacement AC Adapter for my laptop. My laptop is an advent 7098 and the adaptor is 18.5V and 3.25A.
Looking for a cheap replacement found in ebay (£8) for Advent 7096 but with 20V and 3.25A and 19V with 3.42A
is it ok?

Anybody any idea where to get a cheap one?

Welcome to MyDellMini, but I am puzzled that you thought to ask here about a non-Dell laptop. When I am looking for power supplies, I usually find lots of options by Googling the laptop model number (even better if I have the model number of the adapter.) eBay is usually my last choice - there are usually many retailers which offer original and third-party adapters for laptops.

18.5V is a popular voltage (anything in the 19-20V range should do) - the harder thing is matching the plug.
