Default cant display any wireless networks - 09-25-2009, 09:46 AM

I have just purchased a used mini 1011 and tried to connect to my linksys wireless router but the mini wont show any available networks.
There is no problem with my router as i run another laptop off it with no problems, the mini works when connected through the ethernet cable device manager reports no problem with network card and i believe it has been used on a mobile dongle as t-mobile icon was on screen, can anyone help please.

First, make sure your wireless is turned on. The minis have a hardware switch that can turn it on and off. This one has gotten the best of us at times

Second, check your TCP/IP and make sure that you have it set to automatically get an address, rather than have it set at one particular address.
