Default New Vostro, OSX, Runcore questions - 09-21-2009, 08:18 AM

Hi all.

I have been lurking for a month or so and reading up on some things before making a purchase. Ordered a Vostro A90 with the $199 special last week and just picked up a mini 9 earlier today. Mini 9 came with an upgraded Runcore 32gb SSD already running OSX 10.5.6 and 2GB Ram. Everything works great and I'm having a blast getting to know my new little friend.

Questions...

When my Vostro shows up later next week can I just swap out the SSD's and Ram on the souped up Mini 9 without doing anything else or is there something I need to do before/during the swap? I plan on pimping out the Vostro and upgrading the webcam later on as well once I get used to things.

Thanks in advance and for all the great contributers to this forum.

Yes, you can swap the drive. I would recommend regenerating the dsdt.aml file though

Thanks. I will look through things on how to do that.
