Why do you need to know how to burn a .dmg

If you are using a legal retail copy of OSX then you could simply burn a direct copy of the disk... or you could create an .iso then burn.

Enlighten us as to why you need to burn a .dmg....

Yeah, I would be willing to help if it were for legal purposes. Google is your friend, friend.

Well, I have a legal reason. My aunt recorded a DVD of family pictures and it was saved in DMG format on my sister's Macbook. I don't have a Mac and want to make a copy. Winimage will open the DMG - haven't gotten further than that.

You should be able to simply change the file extension from .dmg to .iso and Nero should be able to recognize the file and burn it It will even see the file as HFS+ formatted.

Also, Transmac can some sort of conversion tool from .dmg to .iso

For any more info... check here (top 10 hits are all pretty good, IMO)

Cool. Turns out I had already copied out the VOB, etc., so don't need to futz with the DMG anymore.
