Question [ask] the different in dell mini 10 - 08-26-2009, 10:48 AM

hi, im from indonesia

i just got dell mini 10 from my dad...

there is some question i wanna ask, what is the different between :
- dell mini 1011 and 1010?
- dell mini 10 and 10v?
- which type is upgradable for RAM and Battery?

and how can i check what type is my dell cause i can't find it in the box...

i'm sorry if my english is bad and i'm posting my thread in the wrong room..

Hi and welcome to the forum!

The difference between the mini 10 (1010) and the mini 10v (1011) is the chipset inside, also a few options (like hd screen, tv tuner) aren't available on the 10v.

To check which one you have just check the processor under system properties (right click > properties on "my computer". If it reads as having an "Intel Atom N2XX" processor its a mini 10v, a Z5XX is a mini 10.

i already check the properties, so i have the mini 10v.
