Hi! I recently obtained a Mini 9 from eBay with an 8GB SSD and 1GB RAM. I also purchased a 32GB RunCore SSD and have been running OS X for some time now. Having seeing some YouTube videos of the Mini 9s performance with OS X on a RunCore I am worried that I am not seeing the same transfer speeds as I should, is there anyway I can test this so I can fix it or put my mind at ease? Also, the Dell I received had previously had a Vodafone WWAN card and therefore has a spare PCIe port with two antennae connectors. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could use this for? Could I put my 8GB SSD in it? Oh what do we think of these large high capacity batteries available on eBay? Thanks! - Luke |

You cannot use the WWAN connector for the SSD. The WWAN connector has USB wiring only, so you could use it for a MiniPCIe-USB adapter. Lots of discussion on the big batteries - see 8 Cells "77Wh" Battery is Here! Mini 9|2GB RAM|64GB RunCore|Intel 5300|Windows 8 |
