AVG has too many false positives that have crippled people's systems. The developers are not being careful enough.

i'd avoid like the plague, avg 8.5, norton anything, mcafee anything.

I find the current Norton products to be excellent. I have banned anything McAfee from any system I control.

I also like Avast because it has real-time monitoring but doesn't bog down the system. I can barely tell it's running in the background at all.

Comodo is good too - it has both Firewall and Antivirus.

I have AVG and Spyware Terminator running simultaneously with no issues (Both Free)

Hey guys went with Norton 2009 for my dell mini 9 which I am typing on right now....YYEAAHHH!!!!!!!! Since my Dell E1705 crashed last Sunday I downloaded AVG, Malwarebytes Anti-malware and Lavasoft Anniversary Edition for it.. I also installed both those free downloads of malware and lavasoft for my Dell mini 9.. It has been running ok so far I also upgraded the memory which is sweeetttt....Not ready for the ssd upgrade yet but in the future... Thanks for all the input
