i actually liked ubuntu that's why i'm keeping my original ssd. i had no clue what it was but after playing with it for a week i was getting used to it and would probably learned more if i didn't have to get xp. i only installed xp on my new ssd because i need it for my camera's software.

Linux is easy to use, and Ubuntu has the best device support out there. And the power of the bash shell and scriping is tremendous. But the device driver support is spotty. If you limit yourself to using the Mini 9 as a netbook though this won't come up much, as it will work just fine with flash drives and USB DVD players. Otherwise, when you find yourself recompiling the kernel, you'll probably prefer Windows.
