Red face Cannot resize my windows!! - 07-22-2009, 11:42 PM

Hello all

My new mini 10 is driving me craaaazy. When i try to set up my wireless connection, the window that opens drops beneath the edge of my screen, and i cannot access the "connect now" or "next" buttons--i have no minimize or maximize buttons, and no arrows appear to toggle the size of the window up or down...VERY frustrating!

also, does anyone know if i can install Firefox instead of using Explorer?

thanks

phebenyc

You didn't specify what OS your running...

If it happens to be Mac OS X, try this:

Open a Terminal window and type in "defaults write -g AppleDisplayScaleFactor 0.8" without quotes. This will shrink every app you open next to 8/10 of there regular size. To put apps back to there normal size, type in "defaults write -g AppleDisplayScaleFactor 1.0" without quotes, and always do this before you shutdown or else it will look really weird next time you power up.
