Default Installing Linux FROM a USB Drive? - 07-18-2009, 09:45 PM

I know I can do this, but for some reason I can't make Google work right. Can someone point me in the direction of a simple how-to for installing Linux (GOS) FROM a USB stick? All I find on Google is installing Linux TO a USB stick. I have a couple Linux and Windows machines here at home so if this needs a program for formatting the USB stick specific to one or the other it's not problem. TIA

UNetbootin - Homepage and Downloads

It will unpack a large number of different Linux distributions to a USB stick and make it bootable for installation.
