Default R1 has dropped to a loooooooooow prices - 02-16-2011, 10:25 PM

Who else jumped on them?

My only problem is that it's a bit heavier than I expected, despite reading the descriptions

Thnikin about buying another r1, r3 seems to be coming out very soon. The dell page is already leaking r3 hints. So I figure I should be able to pick up a r1 for even cheaper soon.

Default 11.6 to 13.1 is the perfect screen size for me. - 02-25-2011, 10:37 PM

I hope it comes light, thin and OSX hack-able. Macbook pro (13.3) are coming out with either Intel HD or ATI.

I will repeat so Dell may listen - I need an IPAD companion, so a no/etbook with
11.6 to 13.1 screen is perfect with me. My 13.3 XPS is a tad bigger (and heavy) on my Northface bag.

The current r1 is osx'able

I think they really could make the thing alot thinner though.

I'm excited to get mine - saw these for $599 on the website and was a little patient (OK, 1 day). Managed to get a refurb (r1) with a 4gb ram upgrade on the outlet site for $599...before the 20% off coupon the refurb site was running, so just over $500 after taxes, and free shipping. Can't wait for it to arrive!
