Question Mini 10v - AT&T 5530 - 05-30-2009, 10:19 PM

I was considering switching from a Dell Mini 9 to a Dell Mini 10v. I was wondering if anyone that has a Dell Mini 10v and has opened it if they can tell me if there is a spot for a Express Card slot either empty or a header I can solder one in at. Also is there a spot for a SIM Card slot to be soldered on?

There is a location for WWAN header. It is not soldered on, so you would have to solder it yourself. There is also an access door below the laptop for this location.

Here is the kicker. There is no SIM slot anywhere to be found, not even a location for installing a SIM header. It is supposed to be accessible from behind the battery, but i do not see it anywhere.
