Default iphone sim in mini 9 aircard ? ? - 04-29-2009, 08:38 PM

Hello all

I am just inches away from getting the mini 9 but have one major confusion about the built in wireless broadband :?

I have an old 2g iphone with the unltd iphone dataplan (the sim itself is 3g)

i was hoping to use the sim from this iphone in the dell mini sometimes . . . (not allways) to surf the net in the mini when i am out . . .

Has anyone done this in the past . . without getting banned by ATT ? ?

Also . . has anyone been able to connect to mobile broadband using ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty jacklope) laptop mix ? ?

(i understand that dell does not sell the wireless broadband mini with ubuntu)

Thanks a lot in advance . . .

dont do it........ pay $60 month and avoid a crazy bill at $10.24 per MB transferred if you get caught.

Default Unlock Your iPhone And Tether It To Your Mini - 05-14-2009, 03:26 AM

If you Unlock your iPhone and Jailbreak it you can download some pretty sweet apps that will allow you to tether it to you mini and surf the iNet.
