Default Vodafone drivers on built in card - wont work with fresh ins - 10-25-2008, 07:08 AM

Rebuilt mini9 with custom xp pro nlite joined it to domain gave it local admin rights. Then installed software from dell cd vodafone software opens but doesnt find any drivers manage drivers doesnt detect it.

Help!! Got nice new mini9 but no mobile broadband now!

Does it show up in Device Manager?

It did when i installed R197332, however when its installing the drivers it says cant find section in the INF file and fails.

Why change? Do y9ou need to join a domain for your work? I would have kept it with XP home. My home copy shows device driver as being the normal dell 5530 HSPA,I would expect these to work with Pro as they would with home.

I believe the problem was with the nlite config in the end, I went for a full winxp cd and had to use xplite afterwards, not ideal but it worked.
