anyone tried xampp (web server) using mobile broadband ? can share the guide to setup ?

I can do it on fix broad band with router forwarding... but mobile broadband... ?

If you mean the web server would be on your computer and serving others. Then mobile broadband is defiantly not for you.

I've tried on verizon and AT&T and the http port 80 is blocked so you can't host a web server. The same applies for FTP and some other stuff.

if it's just the port 80 block, I can use another port e.g 8080.
once i can get my ip address, is there a way to map it to a domain name ? e.g. that from dyndns
