Smile broadband on ubuntu linux mini 9 - 01-12-2011, 12:49 AM

first of all is broadband easy to setup under ubuntu?

second of all...

i have a mini 9 run by ubuntu 10.10. it has a slot for the broadband radio but it is unused.

should i consider adding a broadband radio to take advantage of open slot or should i get one of the usb dongles instead?

i guess what i am asking is "is it easy to add the radio myself?".

please advise.

thank you.

~alonzo, mini 9, run by ubuntu 10.10 netbook remix, 1gb ram, 30gb ssd, 1.5gb swap space, web cam, Bluetooth ,,, it runs ~real~ good!
