Just got my mobile broadband working again (the radio disabled issue)in my mini9 after upgrading to A06.

I'm back to A00 now, so are wondering what is the highest version bios revision that won't clobber the 5530 card again?

Hi, I updated my mini9 with the vostro a90 A06 bios. :

Fixes and Enhancements
Always turn on the WWAN device if the WWAN device exist

Boots up with vostro screen now

i got an error (-144) on running it, but got around it by copying the ROM file into the usb flash util file and renaming it, then flashing with usb mem card. PITA, but worked out in the end.

If I understand right you copied the BIOS.ROM file from C:\WINDOWS\Temp\WINPHLASH, that was created when you executed the STA06_Win.exe.

But witch "usb flash util file" did you use? An earlier's(DOS) BIOS version?
If so how did you extracted the DOS version and replaced the old with the new BIOS.ROM? What renaming did you do?
