Default Bluetooth and 3G mobile phone - Mac OS X 10.5.8 - 12-03-2009, 03:07 PM

Hello, I have mini 9 with Mac OS X 10.5.8. My wife uses it with data plan for the internet, but I do not have internal or USB broadband modem and I connect it with old Sony Ericsson k600i - 3G enabled mobile phone - UMTS 2100 - 384 kb/s. When I connect it to the mini with a cable the internet goes fine with the speed from specs, but if I want to connect it with the bluetooth the speed decreases dramatically and it is not comfortable for browsing.
Can someone explain what is the speed of transfer of the bluetooth of the mini, and do I make something wrong.
Thank you

Actually, 3G can enable any kind of mobile phone to access through the internet. As to connect bluetooth, the speed will certainly decrease and will be not able to browse on it. But, you must make sure that your mobile phone is compatible of using the bluetooth as well as the internet in order to have the stable speed you wanted; or else there's something wrong on your side.
