Good article.

My Mini is on contract with vodafone, I certainly don't see it as replacement for my internet service, just extra connectivity when I'm out and about.

Personally I find speed depends on connection, if I get half or less signal, its like browsing on 56k

Please do not send me support requests via PM.

Yes, I noticed that article this morning. It should be very useful for anyone who was perhaps thinking of giving up their fixed line broadband in the UK.

I use a Vodafone pre-pay dongle with my Mini 9 when I need to and it works quite acceptably well most times (I live in N Ireland, near Belfast). I use it only for browsing - definitely not for downloading!

I use three Mobile BB, it's pretty good (S Wales), and yes i use it for downloading depending on the hash trackers ect..speeds up to 200kps. Surfing loads pages instantly enough, flash streaming is tolerable for short youtube stuff, but a bit of a no no as far as iplayers go, bandwidth wise as much as anything. thinking of increasing my pre pay budget to £25 a month (7 gb) and getting rid of the fixed line and their costs.. or i would if I was the real boss of my household

I do notice usage surges but i do on my fixed line as well.

4G (3.9) wow!
